Anti-Drug Awareness Session – VCSC

Visakhapatnam City Security Council (VCSC) today conducted an Anti-Drug Awareness Session under the leadership of Shri M. V. Pavan Kartheek. The session was led by Smt. Seema Sikri and coordinated by Mr. Naveen J.

The main focus of the session was on the effects of substance abuse on health, family, and future. Students were sensitized about the physical and mental health risks, the impact on family relationships, and the long-term consequences on education and career prospects.

Visakhapatnam City Security Council (VCSC) conducted an Anti-Narcotics Awareness Session at Food Craft Institute, Visakhapatnam, under the guidance of Shri Pavan Kartheek, Joint Secretary, Anti-Narcotics Forum.

The session was led by Smt. Seema Sikri, Associate Director, who highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of prevention and reporting. Shri Pavan Kartheek also shared valuable career guidance on opportunities in the hospitality industry.

Govt college for Chemical engineering

VCSC conducted an Anti-Narcotics Awareness Session at Government College of Chemical Engineering, Kancharpalem, to sensitize students on the dangers of substance abuse.

Dr. Shankabrata Bagchi, IPS, Commissioner of Police and Chairman, VCSC, addressed the students on the harmful effects of drugs, peer pressure, and the importance of early reporting. He also highlighted the role of the EAGLEs team and the 1972 helpline.

ZPHS - Gottipalli

An Anti-Narcotics Awareness Session was conducted at ZPHS Gottipalli High School under the guidance of Shri M.V. Pavan Kartheek. The session, led by Mrs. Seema Sikri, covered the dangers of drugs, peer pressure, legal consequences, preventive measures, and the 1972 reporting helpline.

Students were also informed about CP Sir’s contact for support. The program was coordinated by Mr. Naveen Jaggumantri. We thank Sri Pandiri Kanakeswara, Principal, the school staff, and Smt. Kondamma for their support.

Skill Development centre

Dr. Shanka Brata Bagchi, IPS, Commissioner of Police & Chairman, VCSC, conducted an awareness session on the dangers of drug abuse, addressing nearly 850 students both offline and online at Skill Development center. He highlighted the serious physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse and urged students to make informed choices.

Encouraging youth to become “warriors against drug addiction,” he emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, and community support in building a drug-free society.
