Dr. Shankabrata Bagchi, IPS, Commissioner of Police and Chairman, VCSC, conducted a impactful awareness session on the dangers of drug abuse at the **HPCL Skill Development Centre**, addressing nearly **850 students** both offline and online.
He highlighted the serious physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse and urged students to make informed and responsible choices. Dr. Bagchi encouraged the youth to become “**warriors against drug addiction**” and emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, and community support in building a drug-free society.
The programme was organized by VCSC in coordination with Mr. Pavan Kartheek, Mrs. Seema Sikri, and Mr. Naveen Jaggumantri, in association with **HPCL Skill Development Centre**, represented by Mr. P. Vijay Kumar.
This initiative reflects the strong commitment of Visakhapatnam City Police and VCSC towards creating a safe and drug-free Visakhapatnam.
