On 23rd April 2026, the Visakhapatnam City Security Council (VCSC) conducted impactful **Cyber Security Awareness Sessions** at AS Raja Mahila Junior College and Alwardas Degree College exclusively for women students.
The sessions were led by Mrs. Seema Sikri under the guidance of the Joint Secretaries of VCSC, particularly Mr. Kishore Dasari. The program focused on educating students about safe online practices and recognizing various cyber threats.
The interactive sessions encouraged active participation, with students enthusiastically engaging in discussions, asking questions, and sharing their views and experiences.
Key topics covered included safe online behaviour, identifying common cyber threats, and practical steps to protect themselves in the digital space.
VCSC extends its sincere thanks to Dr. M. Kasulamma and Dr. Jagadeeshwar Rao, Principals of the respective colleges, for their support and cooperation. We also appreciate the dedicated efforts of our volunteers — Mr. Karan, Mr. Jeevan, Mr. Ravi Kiran, and Mr. Kalyan — for their excellent coordination in making the sessions successful.
