VCSC Awareness Programs
at ZPHS Anandapuram

Visakhapatnam City Security Council (VCSC) conducted a Cyber Security Awareness Session for Grade 7 students of Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Anandapuram on 13th February 2026.

The session was guided by Shri Kishore Dasari and led by Mrs. Seema Sikri and Mr. Naveen Kumar Jaggumantri.

Key topics covered included:

• Responsible and safe social media usage
• Risks involved in online gaming
• Dangers of clicking suspicious links and APK files
• Proper reporting mechanisms for cyber incidents

Students participated enthusiastically. VCSC thanks the Principal and Mrs. Dhana Lakshmi (Computer Teacher) for their excellent support.

VCSC also conducted a POCSO Awareness Session for Grade 9 students at the same school under the guidance of Smt. Lakshmi Mukkavilli.

The session was led by Smt. Seema Sikri with support from Mr. Naveen J and Mrs. Dhanalakshmi.

The program focused on:

• The POCSO Act and its provisions
• Children’s rights and personal safety
• Importance of saying “No” to inappropriate behavior
• Reporting mechanisms for any untoward incidents

Students were made aware that the POCSO Act protects all children below 18 years of age, irrespective of gender. The session emphasized staying safe, aware, and confident.
